The OG cats (above) on this blog were adopted from shelters. Please support your local animal shelter or rescue if you’re looking for a new member of the family. There are so many sweet, loving, good animals that you can find. Please don’t buy from a local pet shop and always spay and neuter. If you’re ever looking for a cat, please don’t declaw or let them outside. Cats kept indoors can live 16-20 years and are protected from other animals, cars, pests, and diseases. An outdoor cat’s life span on average is two to five years.

Oreo is an almost eight-year old domestic long-haired American tuxedo. He was born with a nasopharyngeal polyp which was removed when he was about five months old. He’s loyal, needy, and my daily alarm clock.

Bellatrix (Bella) is a seven year old Bombay. Her breed is known to be mini-panthers and mischievous. She was named because of my love of Harry Potter and the latin roots of “Bellatrix” means female warrior, which reflects the traits of her breed. She’s solitary but she still wants to be in the same room as me.

Since starting this blog, cats have added been to my Catdom (let’s be honest its their house we’re just living in it).

Marvel is a mackerel tabby and yes she’s named after the comics. She’s about six years old and was Tyler’s brother’s cat that Ty ended taking care of. She’s feisty and vocal and lives up to her name. She’s the mama cat of …

Luna Lovegood, yes, we’re nerdy and don’t care. Loony Luna is Lynx Point Siamese, she started off pure whiteand her color has changed over the past five years. She has beautiful blue eyes, is needy as all get out but super affectionate.
